QUESTION #8

Where in my community can I find training in Drug-Free Workplace programs for my supervisors?

In many communities, State and local drug abuse agencies have individuals who are certified to provide substance abuse education training, including training for supervisors. Your local Chamber of Commerce may provide the training or assist you in finding a resource such as an employee assistance programs service provider or a local consulting business. In addition, field offices of the Drug Enforcement Administration and many local police departments provide this training to employers in the community. If you want to provide written materials or videos about Drug-Free Workplace programs to your supervisors to supplement such training, you can obtain low or no-cost materials from The National Clearinghouse for Alcohol and Drug Information (800-729-6686).
